Our ski league lessons are set up to promote having fun while learning basic ski techniques in a developmental style. Our coaches are trained to offer your child a great skiing experiences. Lessons will begin on Saturday, January 7th with a meet and greet for the coaches and sign up for volunteer duties inside the lodge at 1:00. The lesson will begin between 1:15 and 1:30 on that day. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday Lessons
January 7th, 21st and 28th
February 4th, 18th and 25th
March 3rd (ski festival)
Thursday Lessons
January 12th, 26th
February 9th, 23rd
*** Make up dates - February 2nd, 11th, 16th, March 1st
Ski League Reminders
· be on time
· listen to your coach and stay with your group during your lesson
· if you fall, move off the track and out of the way of other skiers
· let faster skiers go by you
· watch out for slower skiers at the bottom of the trail
· skiers coming down the hill have the right away
· leave the tracks and trails in good condition
· dress in layers
· wear a hat and mittens
· bring a bottle of water
· keep track of your skiing minutes and record them in the logbook in the lodge
· wax your skies before each lesson (coaches do not wax skies)
· after each lesson, join everyone in the lodge for hot chocolate and goodies
· don’t litter
· leave your pets at home
· try your best and have fun
